I am completely overwhelmed at the response my blog is getting already, thank you all so much for the wonderful comments. One of the visions I have for this space is that it will not only be a blog in which I discuss the inner working of myself as an artistic, introverted, empathic, highly sensitive wife, mother and human being, but also a place for my art to be showcased. I’m sure this will grow and evolve as we go, and I’m fine with that.
I started a Patreon Account today and linked it in the sidebar for you. I feel so amazing having the confidence to ask for support for my work. I wish I could just blog and make art all day and give it all away for free, but that doesn’t help me pay for daycare in order to spend hours in the studio, or buy my silk gauze and merino wool in order to make these amazing works of art swirling around in my head that are just begging to take shape in the physical world, or continue my Shamanic Training which is undoubtedly inspiring and influencing my work at this time.
One of the biggest catalysts in this shift within myself from UNworthy to WORTHY has been my Feminist Shamanic Counseling training. I’m ony three months into, and I will be posting about it in detail in the future, but it has completely changed my life and how I tell my own personal story. I have shifted from being the victim of the circumstances of my life, to being the creator of everything I’ve experienced, both good and bad. This is remarkable, and a wonderful feeling to no longer feel like a victim. The bad things go hand in hand with the good things and I wouldn’t be the person I am now if it hadn’t been for the hardships that helped shape me in to the woman I am now.
I believe that I have something unique and healing to offer to the world, and by setting up the Patreon account, I am telling the world that I am open to receiving offerings in return. I’m asking for financial support for the work that I do so that I can dig deep and discover just how far I can go with this.
I am offering rewards with the different levels of support through Patreon, but if you think of something you would like to see, leave a comment below. Don’t forget to subscribe so you don’t miss anything. And have an amazing, bliss-filled day. See you soon!
